Gary Lynn Grayson
June 21st, 1962 - October 5th, 2020
Albuquerque resident Gary Lynn Grayson, 58 passed away peacefully in his home on October 5, 2020 surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Clovis, New Mexico to the late Billie Jene Grayson and Mary Emma Green. In High School he was in JROTC, after H.S. he joined the United States Navy, where he served 4 years. He took a break in Service and later joined the United States Army and completed another 4 years. Upon his Honorable discharge from the service he returned to make Albuquerque home once again where he and his late wife Norma Sepulveda Grayson raised their children. He did several jobs over the years but being in Corrections was his most prized profession behind his time in Service. He was a very proud United States Veteran. In March 2014 he embarked on a brand new journey, meeting and later marrying his wife Denise. A lifetime of memories were made in a short period of time and he left his footprints in many hearts. The family grew by leaps and bounds overnight. We are a family forever bound Gary loved to be in the kitchen where he spent time cooking, baking and loved making jerky of all flavors. Win or lose, he loved his Dallas Cowboys! He loved to dress up and go out dancing. He was funny and people loved to be around him. Left to cherish his memories are: His wife Denise Grayson, his children John (Annie) Sepulveda of Rock Island, Illinois, Michael (Vicenta) Sepulveda, Micaela Grayson, Gene Grayson, Jasmine (Michael) Padilla, Jocelyn Padilla, Joshua Lowry, Jonissa (Nicholas) Flowers, Chelsea Baca and Ruby May Crouch, 23 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. His siblings Ira Lee (Sheila) Jackson Jr of San Bernardino, California, Travis Jackson of Colorado, Marilyn Ford of Atlanta, Georgia, Cassandra Lyn Grayson-Jones of Las Vegas, Nevada, Danita Ward of Decatur, Georgia, Billie Grayson of Amarillo, Texas and Marshall Grayson of Los Angeles, California. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. He was preceded in death by: His Parents, his sister Carolyn Jackson, his brother David Grayson and his Father-in-law Lee A. Venable. Arrangements Entrusted to: Riverside Funeral Home 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE 505-764-9663
