Warner Robins, GA-Joseph Randall Thompson, 55, passed away in his home on Thursday May 25, 2017. Funeral service will be held on Sunday May 28, 2017 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Missy Blumenthal will officiate. Interment will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Joseph was born on May 7, 1962 in Cordele, GA. Before his retirement he worked as a medical coding auditor and spent his career traveling the United States representing multiple companies. His main concern was always the welfare of the doctors. Though he had an entrepreneur’s spirit Randy’s true passion in life was singing and sharing music with his family and friends. He is remembered as kind-hearted with unlimited generosity and thoughtfulness. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and uncle who will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Lee Thompson, Sr. His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of twenty four years, Michelle Austin Thompson; sons, Nathaniel Edd Thompson, Hawkinsville; Joseph Lee Thompson, Warner Robins; mother, Laverne Bennett, Waycross; brother, Gerald Lee (Pamela) Thompson, Jr., Waycross; sisters, Deborah Ann (Raymond) Canterbury, Ashburn; Whitney Anderson, Savannah; grandchildren, Kolton Randall Thompson, Hawkinsville; Violet Elizabeth Thompson, Warner Robins and numerous nephews and nieces.
