Eric "Nani" Milfred Valdez

Eric Milfred "Nani" Valdez, 59, a resident of Espanola, NM formerly of La Villita joined his parents in paradise on November 16, 2020. Eric was a loving, caring, and helpful man. He would help you in any way he could. He enjoyed working for Shannon Corporation in Los Alamos for over twenty years. He was a pilar in the communities of Espanola and Los Alamos. He enjoyed working on his garden, cooking for his family, fishing, making people laugh and spending time with his nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Viola Valdez, his brother Floyd Valdez Jr. and a nephew Chris Vigil. He is survived by his siblings Benicio Valdez (Ruby) of Alcalde, Joann Salazar (Erineo) of Velarde, Hilda Vigil (Michael) of Espanola, Doris Palomares (Jose) of Espanola who was like a second mother to him; she took him under her wing, Mary Camargo (Arturo) of Espanola, Raymond Valdez (Tracy) of Espanola, Brenda Moreno (Miguel) of Espanola and Juanita Valdez of Espanola. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nephews, great nieces and many other relatives who he loved dearly. Serving as pallbearers are Doris and Andrew Palomares. Honorary pallbearers are all of his nieces, nephews, great nephews and great nieces. Services are pending at this time.
