Nancy Carolyn Milam

Fort Valley, GA- Nancy Carolyn Milam, 73, passed away October 24, 2017. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Perry Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Pastor Steve Keener will officiate. Mrs. Milam was born on February 29, 1944 in Selmer, TN to the late Dalton and Zylphia Jones. She retired from Flint Energies where she worked in billing. In her free time she enjoyed painting with oils, and making ceramics at the senior center in Warner Robins. She was known for her green thumb and she loved spending time out in her yard gardening. She adored her family and her beloved dog “Zoey.” A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Mrs. Milam will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The world lost a very special person and is a little less beautiful without her. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Her memory will forever be cherished by her husband, David A Milam Jr. of Fort Valley, GA; Son, David Milam III (Judy) of Elko, GA; Daughter, Felicia D. Milam of Denver, CO; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one brother, two sisters, and a host of adoring nieces and nephews.
