Warner Robins, GA- Robert Charles “Bobby” Green, 69, passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2018. A funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service from 1:00PM – 2:00PM. Graveside services will be private. Reverend Ken Morgan will officiate. Bobby was born January 29, 1949 in Minden, Louisiana to the late Leonard and Martha Green. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He later went to work for the Houston County Board of Education at Tabor Middle School as a teacher and Coach, where he retired after many years. He attended First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins. Bobby loved golfing, fishing, hunting and college football. He loved his dog and spending time with his friends. He was a loving brother, uncle and partner who will be greatly missed. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, John Mashburn. His memory will forever be treasured by his brother, Ronnie (Sue) Green, California; sisters, Linda McCraw, Warner Robins; Deborah Howell, Kathleen; several nieces and nephews; loving partner, Kathy Canady, Warner Robins and faithful companion Cash, his loving dog. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bobby’s honor to the Humane Society of Houston County, 810 Carl Vinson Pkwy, Centerville GA. 31028 or a charity of your choice.
