Rose Murillo Apodaca
February 28th, 1933 - April 8th, 2021
Mama Rose was called to her eternal resting place in heaven with Jesus on April 8, 2021 with her loving family at her home. Rosa was born on February 28, 1933 in Silver City, New Mexico to Estanislado and Marianna Garcia Murillo, she was the youngest of 7 siblings who have all gone to our eternal father except one sister in-law Rose Murillo from Las Vegas, Nevada. Rose worked at Casa Angelica to the ripe age of 77 years old and loved her Casa children very much. Her joy was working with the Cannossian sisters and caring for her babies so many to name them all. Mama enjoyed the casino and the yearly Fiestas at all the Catholic parishes in Albuquerque and Bernalillo. She loved to dance and enjoyed watching her grandkids play sports and grow into fine young men. Rose is survived by her 4 children Daniel Hinton (Deceased) Ellen Concini husband Frank, Paula Marquez husband Jay Miller and son Jerome (jerry) Apodaca. 5 grandchildren First born Danita Rose (deceased) Frankie and Holly Concini, Eric and Cypriana Concini, Adrian Concini and Sabrina Romero, Jerome Apodaca. 4 great grandchildren: Olivia and Nolan Concini, Luciano (Nano) Concini and Neveah Romero. Rose was preceded in death by her 6 siblings Espire and Chencha Murillo, Jose and Thelma Murillo, Waldo and Evangelina Murillo and Frank Murillo. Her sisters Estella and Adan Grijalva, Betty and Charles Anthony and many nieces and nephews. Mama Rose lived a long full life and walked with the Lord daily, she prayed her rosary daily and Novenas faithfully. She gave so much of herself to all who were blessed to know her. She is now in heaven dancing to her Ranchera music she so loved. We love you Mama. Rest in peace and may the perpetual light of Jesus shine upon you. See you soon. A prayer vigil and Rosary will take place on Wednesday April 28 at 7:00 pm at Holy family parish 562 Atrisco DR. SW. A funeral mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am Thursday April 29 at Holy family parish, interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery 924 Menaul Blvd. NE
