Leopoldo "Leo" Tafoya, 95, passed away unexpectedly on April 23, 2021. Leo was born in Hurley. NM to Vivian Tafoya and Puelbita. He was raised in Monticello, NM, the oldest of 8 siblings. He moved to Albuquerque where he met his spouse, Eva. They would have been married 63 years in June. Leo is survived by his spouse Eva; daughters Ramona, Dianne and Patricia with her husband Jerry; grandchildren Anthony, Chris, Jessica and Lauren; 10 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren. He was a dedicated family man. Leo was an avid horseman, loved all animals, played guitar, a terrific salesman and knew no strangers. Services are pending and will be announced soon.
