Warner Robins, GA: William ?Bill? M. McLendon, 87, passed away Friday, August 17, 2007. Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 until 5 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Pastor Gene Stillwell will officiate. Mr. McLendon was born in East Point, GA to the late James T. McLendon and Bessie Mattox McLendon. He was a retired electronic specialist at Robins Air Force Base after transfering to Warner Robins from Mobile, AL many years ago. He was a member of the Warner Robins Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Thelma G. McLendon of Warner Robins, daughter, June Findley of San Antonio, TX, son, Tom McLendon of Byron, sister, Hazel Cataldo of Fayetteville, GA, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Contributions may be made to the Warner Robins Church of Christ at 1947 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA, 31093, for the Middle GA Christian School at Thomaston Road Church of Christ in Macon. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
