Warner Robins, GA: Allen C. Collins, Jr., 86, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2008 at his residence. Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Collins was born in Blairsville, GA. He was the son of the late Allen C. Collins, & Cordelia Hood Collins. He was also preceded in death by his brother Paul Collins, sisters, Mae Allen, Ruby Turner, Edna Willingham and Dell Fowler. He was a mason and a charter member of the Shirley Hills Baptist Church. He was a retired electronic inspector from Robins Air Force Base. While in the United States Army, Mr. Collins fought in W.W. II conflict. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Gertrude L. Collins of Warner Robins, son, David Pamela Collins of Panama City, FL, daughter, Wanda Reggie Register of Macon, son, Randy Collins of Warner Robins, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Flowers will be accepted but those who wish may make donations to the Shirley Hills Baptist Church Building Fund @ 615 Corder Road, Warner Robins, GA, 31088, in memory of Mr. Collins.
