April 2nd, 1938 - September 27th, 2021
Martha Jane Hindi (Leonard) passed away on Monday September 27, 2021 at the age of 83. She was born April 2, 1938 in Alliance, Ohio. The Leonard Family relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1948. Martha graduated from Highland High School in 1956 and attended the University of New Mexico. She was a Powder Puff Champion at Speedway Park in 1957 & 1958. She worked at Mountain Bell Phone Company. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ethel Leonard. She is survived by her brother Bud Leonard, her son Scott Horner (Ana), daughter Staci Hindi, grandchildren Katie Ortega (Derrik), Collin Horner (Erin), Carson Horner and great granddaughter Aubree Horner. Services for Martha are pending and will be announced at a later date. The family is especially thankful for the kind, loving and compassionate care Martha received from Wellesley Care Home.
