Timothy "Bagman" Edward Bagley

Timothy Edward Bagley Timothy Edward Bagley (Bagman) made his final exit on November 22, 2021 in Farmington, New Mexico. He was born June 25, 1962 in Anniston, Alabama to Robert Lee Bagley and Barbara Faye Bagley. Tim was active in professional and community theater in Farmington for more than two decades both on stage and behind the scenes. He was 16 when he made his first entrance in high school. Later he attended Cerritos College in California where he had several prominent roles. He was involved in multiple southern California community theaters and their productions and was a member of the Garden Grove Community Theater Board of Directors. Tim moved to Farmington in 1996 after meeting his wife Cynthia while they both worked in concessions at the Grand Canyon National Park. At San Juan College he revived the Delta Psi Omega National Theater Honor Society and was instrumental in producing an annual A Christmas Carol in Two Tumultuous Acts to benefit PATH. He performed in the Traveling Troupe which brought educational skits to multiple schools and performed on stage in dozens of productions including the Wizard of Oz, Taming of the Shrew, the Fantasticks, and the Laramie Project. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Theater Directing from the University of the Southwest. A staple in the Farmington community theater scene he participated in all production aspects for Bottom of the Barrel Productions, Theater Ensemble Arts, and others. Notable productions included Life with Father, Haunted, Act of the Imagination, On Golden Pond, and most recently he played Nick Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream. His film credits include—Killer Clowns from Outer Space, Smoke Signals, and American Meth. He also acted professionally in The Anasazi Pageant, Black River Traders, and multiple Sandstone Productions such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and South Pacific. Tim was a passionate and high-caliber entertainer that put his heart and soul into every performance making him an audience favorite. On stage he was able to unleash his superpowers of intelligence and wit, and spellbind people, transforming their experience with an ability to deliver his magic elixir—humor. If he couldn't brighten your day with a little dose of laughter, he felt he had failed you, and he grieved over it. His greatest desire was to alter the human experience by helping transcend the pain of the present with laughter. The Bagman was a larger-than-life personality who made every part he played a memorable experience. In heaven, Tim will be an exceptional Elvis Impersonator! He was predeceased by his parents, sister Terri Marie Bagley, brother Anthony Joseph Bagley, and beloved wife Cynthia Benally Bagley. He is survived by his son Trevor Bagley Hopkins and sister Robin Bagley Bottjen. A Memorial service will be scheduled for early next year.
