Walter Frances Snyder, 80 passed away in Albuquerque, NM on December 12, 2021. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 26, 1941. He moved to Las Cruces, NM to attend NMSU in 1965 and met his future wife, Jean. Walt earned a Bachelor's degree and a Master's in business and accounting. While there, he joined the NM National Guard and served proudly for seven years. He practiced accounting in El Paso and Albuquerque and raised his family. Walt is survived by three children and three grandchildren: Walter Snyder and Sarah; Edward Snyder and Lori, their children Michael and Kyle; Damien Snyder and his son Andrew Sky. He was preceeded in death by daughter Angela and son Joseph. He is also survived by: his sister, Kathleen Waymack and her husband, Mark; their daughter Colleen and husband Jeff; children, Jack and Kate. Walt also leaves: brother Jerry, his wife Charlene, and his children Gregg and Charlene and deceased son Justin. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
