Charlie "Tom" Thomas Walton

Charlie “Tom” Walton passed away unexpectedly at the University of New Mexico Hospital on December 7, 2021 at the age of 62. He was born April 8, 1959, in Hawthorne California, the son of Charlie Gerald Walton and Rita Karen Walton. Charlie graduated from Lyons High School in 1977. After graduation, he enlisted and served with the United States Navy for four years. After his time in the Navy, he held several management positions including 26 years as the manager for the Caravan East Nightclub. During which time, he married twice and had two children. Charlie was preceded in death by his mother Rita Karen Walton. He is survived by his Father, Charlie Walton; Children Amber Scott and Tanner Walton; Ex-wife Gail Simmons; Sister Sherri Walton Darbe; Brothers Ron Walton, Bruce Walton, and Jim Walton; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A public celebration of life will be held in the spring, around Charlie’s 63rd birthday, location, exact date, and time to be determined at a later date.
