Warner Robins, GA: Roger Blizzard, 77, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Mr. Blizzard was born in Baldwin County, GA to the late Samuel B. and Gladys Babb Blizzard. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Blizzard of Brookhaven, GA. Mr. Blizzard was a retired aircraft maintenance supervisor from Robins Air Force Base and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of the AARP, NARFE, the American Legion and the Sheriff Association. Survivors include his wife Marjorie Ann Blizzard of Warner Robins, son Roger Alan Blizzard of Norcross, daughters Linda Hartley of Reynolds, Diane Tollerud of Culloden, sister Betty Blizzard of Milledgeville, brothers Bobby Blizzard of Richland, GA and Arthur Blizzard of Milledgeville, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at 770 Walnut Street, Macon, GA, 31203 or to the American Diabetes Association at Georgia Affiliate One Corporate Square, Suite 127, Atlanta, GA 30329 in memory of Mr. Blizzard. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
