Dean H. Walker

Dean H. Walker age 85, born in Chicago, IL in 1937, passed away on December 7, 2022 in Rio Rancho, NM. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Marlene; daughter Debra Ewing of Jacksonville, FL; son David Walker (wife Lisa) of Alpharetta, GA; and daughter Donna Sharp (husband Mark) of Brecksville, OH; grandchildren Amanda Wilson of Alpharetta, GA; Brandon Walker of Springfield, IL; Rachel Walker of Alparetta, GA; Paige Sharp of Rocky River, OH; and great grandchildren Meredith Wilson, Weston Walker and Claire Wilson. Following a 35-year ascendant career with Florsheim Shoe Company of Chicago, IL, culminating as Vice President of Operations. Dean and Marlene chose to retire to the Southwest where Dean was able to fulfill his passion for golf. He was also an avid follower of college basketball, plus his beloved Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. Dean and Marlene lived in Placitas, NM for 22 years before moving to Green Valley, AZ, where they lived for 8 years before returning to Rio Rancho, NM in 2020. The sunny Southwest also provided a great opportunity to enjoy many outdoor activities and their passion for dogs, particularly Dalmatians.
