Bennie Brown

Life Reflections for Bennie Roy Brown born March 24, 1929 in Oaklahoma City, OK to the parents of Burnard Brown and Edna E. Sewell Brown. He transitioned and received his wings February 17, 2023 at the age of 93 while at home in the loving care of his son Benny Brown, granddaughter Regina Lewis and great grandson Jonathan Lewis. Bennie is predeceased by his parents, two sisters Gracie Mae Norwood and Elsie Scott, two wives and childern Ella Ernestine Brown, Terry Lee Brown, Roy Lee Brown, Melvin Brown and Charles (Charlie) Brown. He leaves behind to mourn Ruth Dale Brown aka Mer'Curie Sansom, Varie William's (Daniel), Benny Ray Brown, Marvin Brown, Bobby Dean Brown (Elnora) and E. Evelyn Brown, a whole host of grand, great, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relative and friends. He will be laid to rest on Monday, March 6, 2023. Viewing 9am - 10am; Service 10am - 12pm Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park - 924 Menual Blvd NE - Albuquerque, NM 87107. Arrangements are entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home. Repass will immediately follow the burial at Mt. Zion Baptist Church located at 316 57th Street SW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87121.
