We sadly share the passing of Felix Martinez, of Albuquerque, NM April 13, 2023. Born September 1, 1951 to Pedro and Rose Martinez, he was the youngest son of six and is survived by his sister LeNora Bennett and brother Albert Martinez. A US Marine Corp Vietnam veteran; Felix was stationed in Laos and Cambodia. Returning to NM he started his contracting business, Felix the Plastering Cat. Felix loved family and friends. He always encouraged them to SMILE. Felix was devoted to his wife, Joyce. They shared many happy years until her passing in 2018. Felix was predeceased by his son Almark and survived by his son Daryl Morrill, daughters, Rachel Morrill-Maharath, and Julie Silva, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Services: Thursday May 4, 2023 at Santa Niño Church, 16926 Frontage Rd. Rosary at 10:00am with funeral service at 11:00 am. Procession to Santa Fe National Cemetary follows.
