Toni G. Chavez

“God’s will be done” Toni G. Chavez passed into God’s loving hands on May 3, 2023 at the age of 76. Her husband David, children Steven, Duane and Suzanna, granddaughter Annie, sister Veronica and brother in law John were by her side. Toni was born in Ft. Sumner, NM to Lucas and Juanita Garza on December 11, 1946. She was married, had three children who she raised until she went to work as an audiology office manager when her youngest child became a teen. Toni had a beautiful smile, loved to laugh and she was definitely the "life of the party.” She loved being crafty, cooking, traveling, going to the gym, hiking and being outdoors with her family. She is survived by husband, David, children Steven, Duane (Norene) and Suzanna, granddaughter Annie, siblings Paula Campos, Fred (Libby) Garza, Gene Garza, Alice Chavez, Joaquin Garza, Veronica (John) Perea, many other family members and wonderful friends Toni made throughout her life. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Wednesday, May 31 at the Church of the Incarnation in Rio Rancho, NM.. Interment will immediately follow at, Santa Fe National Cemetery starting at 1:00 pm sharp. In lieu of flowers, consider donating to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, an organization Toni passionately, wholeheartedly supported and believed in.
