Matthew Curtis Bouska
June 1st, 1974 - August 15th, 2023
Matthew Curtis Bouska (49) of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away peacefully at his home on August 15, 2023 from complications of cancer. Matthew was a much-loved and respected healer who worked as a hospice nurse and who was known for his deep humor and compassion for those in his care. His most recent employer has dedicated a portion of their facility and a scholarship in his honor. Matthew was also a gifted cook (who, it must be noted, didn’t share his brisket or tamale recipe!), a firearm enthusiast, and spoiled his dog, Claus, endlessly. Matthew is survived by his wife, Christine, daughter, Jocelynn, his mother, Marilyn and siblings John, Mark, Mike, and Alise. A private remembrance will be held at his home.
