Warner Robins, Georgia – Herbert S. Taylor, 78 went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 25, 2020. Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic a private graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2020. Herbert was born on September 6, 1941 in Rochelle, Georgia to the late Lenora Price and Samuel Taylor. Herbert was a loving man who lived life to the fullest and found the best in every situation imaginable. He was a gifted musician who played the guitar and spend time around those he loved. He will forever be remembered as a big kid at heart who loved his grandchildren dearly. When he was not spending time with those, he loved he could be found fishing enjoying the scenery the Lord created. Herbert was a devoted Christian and it showed in his daily walk by his bible studies and the lessons he taught his family. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, papa, and an amazing friend to many. In addition to his parents waiting for Herbert at the gates of heaven was his beloved son, Ricky Taylor. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved bride of 44 years, Mary Taylor; Children, Ken Taylor (Mary), Amy Garis (Buddy), Lisa Holcomb (Brian); 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
