November 21st, 1933 - December 14th, 2020
Warner Robins, Georgia - Myrtle R Harbin, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 14,2020 with her beloved family at her bedside. A visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 1:00PM til 2:00PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 16,2020 at 2:00PM with Reverend Don Feezor officiating. Immediately following the services Mrs. Harbin will be laid to rest at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Myrtle was born on November 21, 1933 to the late Evelyn Ray Collins and William Morris Ray in Telfair, County, Georgia. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Centerville, where she enjoyed being a part of the Shining Lights Sunday School class. Myrtle was a devoted Christian who served the Lord with all her soul, mind, and strength, and it showed in her daily walk with her Lord and Savior. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved being surrounded by those she loved. She dedicated her life to being a homemaker, raising her kids and being the best Grandmommie. Her most treasured memories are seeing all of her children together at church. Family gatherings were her favorite past times along with singing and sharing cherished old memories. In addition to her parents, awaiting for her at the gates of Heaven is her beloved husband, Gerald "Jerry" Harbin, her son in law Rocky Griffeth, her grandson Jonathan Cuppett and her siblings that have gone on before her. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved children, Terry (Wanda) Harbin, Patricia Griffeth, Joseph R.(Patricia S.) Harbin, Jane (John) Cuppett, Robin (Kevin) Coy; sister, Betty Smith; brother, Kenneth (Cheryl) Ray; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of extended family members and friends. Contributions can made in Myrtle Harbin's honor to First Baptist Church Centerville's Worship Center Restoration or Kindred Hospice.
