March 26th, 1960 - December 21st, 2020
Teresa G. Jones of Perry, Georgia went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 21, 2020 at the age of 60 years old. She was born on March 26, 1960 in Chicopee, Massachusetts and lived in multiple domestic and international locations as her father served in the U.S. Air Force, which ultimately brought her to Middle Georgia. A private celebration of her life will be held for the family only on January 2, 2021. Teresa graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1978. Teresa loved fiercely and served her community and church family wholeheartedly as a faithful member of Cross Point Baptist Church Perry (2003-2020) and First Baptist Church Perry (1986-2002). Teresa’s memory will live on with the love of her life, William T. (Tommy) Jones, three children: Nathaniel W. Garren (Victoria), Miranda G. Helms (Scott), and Ashton Kate Harding (Jonathan); parents, William (Bill) and Charlotte Grimmett; sister, Cheryl Brooks (Leroy); and five grandchildren: David Whitley, Roger Whitley, Henry Whitley, Anna Garren, and Andrew Helms.
