Tracy Allen Brace

Tracy Allen Brace, a long-time resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on November 7, 2023 of a long illness. Tracy was born on April 1, 1969 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Edward Lynn Brace and Mildred (Midge) Tabor Brace. He was of the Kiowa, Comanche, Arapaho, and Wyandotte Nations. Tracy graduated from Corn Bible Academy High School, in Clinton, OK 1987. He was employed in customer service at Walmart in Norman OK and later at Lowes in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Tracy enjoyed going to movies and dining out with friends and family. His love for the outdoors led him to hiking in the Sandia mountains, visiting the Grand Canyon, traveling to California, New York, Colorado, Nevada, and Washington D. C. Tracy was the life of the party wherever he went and his infectious smile and laughter turned ordinary moments into extraordinary ones. He had a great love for animals. He was a descendant of Chief Wildhorse. His paternal great-grandparents were Ned and Martha Brace, and his maternal great-grandparents were Tuinupu (Frank Tate) and Mukahmah. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Grandfather Luther Brace, Ester Tuinʉpʉ Brace (Huutsi), his maternal grandparents Oscar Washinghands and Rose (Lumpmouth) Tabor, parents Mildred (Midge) Tabor Falls and Edward Lynn (Ears) Brace, aunt Lucille Tabor Todd, uncles Robert, Lionel, and Jack Tabor. He is survived by his aunt Geneva Woomavoyah Navarro and cousin Jan Woomavoyah of the home, his sister Carey Falls, of Oklahoma City OK, nephews Josiah Tsatoke, Cason Falls, and Grandniece Kalena Yellowskye Tsatoke of OKC, nephews Gabe Solis, his wife Perphina Solis, and their son, Jack Solis, his wife Brenda Solis and their children, cousin Teresa Gomez and her children and aunt Karen (Kitty) Ware of Albuquerque and her children and grandchildren, cousins Tony Navarro, his wife Risa Navarro of Missoula, MT, and Debbie Wasapappy of Lawton, OK and her children, his Great Aunt Delores Toyebo Harragarra of Oklahoma City, uncle Kenny Harragarra Carnegie, Aunt Edna Poolheco of Winslow, AZ, and her children, his aunt Peggy Tabor Dawson, and her children OK, and many other relatives, and special friend Veronica VanValkenburgh of Norman, OK. A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, March 30 at 10 am in Albuquerque, NM at the Albuquerque Indian Baptist Mission 9533 Osuna Rd. NE. A meal will be served immediately after the ceremony. A special thanks to Arrow and April Wilkinson and Riverside Funeral Home in Albuquerque. A separate service will be held in Oklahoma to be announced at a later date.
