Gary C. Grissom, Sr., age 77 passed away Monday, July 12, 2021. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery with Alan Sorrow officiating. The friends can greet the family Wednesday, July 14, 2021 between 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Gary was born in Eastman, Georgia to the late John Grissom and Maggie Lou Colson Grissom on March 20, 1944. Gary is also preceded in death by his wife Vickie Sorrow Grissom. When Gary was not working at Robins Air Force Base, he enjoyed spending his time fishing, watching the Braves play baseball, and most importantly spending time with his family. Gary is survived by his children, Gary C. Grissom, Jr., Rhonda McDaniel; grandchildren, Luke Hartzog, Zach Hartzog, Logan Grissom, Charlotte Grissom, Bradly Grissom; dear friend Hilda Knight, and a host of extended friends and family. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
