Cleo Connie Castellano

Cleo C. Castellano passed away peacefully on April 27, 2021 after fighting a brief illness. She is preceded in death by parents Celia and Flaviano Herrera of Nambe, NM and daughter Clarissa Nina Castellano. She is survived by husband Rudy M. Castellano. She is also survived by sisters and brothers: Nina and Mel Roybal, Osmundo and Tina Herrera, Gabriel and Berlina Herrera, Nick Herrera and Olivia, Charlie and Carmen Herrera, and David Herrera, all of Nambe, NM. Aggie and Randolph Roybal of Santa Fe, NM. Mariana and Elias Portugal of CA. She is missed dearly by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Cleo enjoyed many activities after her retirement from the State of NM State Engineer’s office. Cleo was a world traveler and had many memories of different cultures and their living environments that she respected and enjoyed. Besides traveling, Cleo especially enjoyed visiting her many family members and close friends that brought her joy. Cleo will be truly missed by all and we feel comforted that she is with God and beloved daughter Clarissa and past family members we hold dearly in our hearts. A Christian funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 511 Alicia Street, Santa Fe, NM on May 14, 2021. Burial will be held at a later date at the Santa Fe National Cemetery for immediate family.
