Warner Robins, GA- Michael Durell Smith, 64, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021. Services are private. Mike was born August 25, 1957 in Montgomery, Alabama to Linda Smith and the late Jimmy Smith. He was the President and CEO of MDS Lighting Inc. for over 30 years. Mike attended the Southside Baptist Church and loved to watch Alabama Crimson Tide Football. ROLL TIDE!! He played the drums for several local bands back in the 70 and 80's. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by everyone who knew him. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 41 years, Diane Smith; two sons: Martin Smith (Kara), and Mitchell Smith of Warner Robins; three grandchildren: Aleksandar, Charlotte, and Marilyn; Mother, Linda Smith; and two brothers: Ken Smith of Milledgeville, and Greg Smith of Macon.
