Riverside Funeral Home - Santa Fe
Loretta Louise Rael
April 25th, 1966 - September 26th, 2021
Loretta Louise Rael, 55, an inspiration of faith and strength, was called home to be with her lord and savior, Jesus Christ on September 26, 2021. She passed in her home with her two loving children and family by her side. Loretta was one of the strongest believers in Jesus Christ whose love for Christ could only be rivaled by the love she had for her adoring family and her grandbabies. Though her contagious laughter and smile are gone, all who knew her will always remember her love for life, her beauty ,curly hair and her colorful sense of style . Loretta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was born in Santa Fe where she met the love of her life, her ``Honey” and best friend. Loretta loved, supported and did anything in raising her two children and six grandchildren. She put her family first and was always available to provide them a listening and supportive ear, followed by smiles, hugs and kisses. She was resilient, and generous beyond measure and taught her family members to never give up and always put God first. She loved to sing and was in many church bands and choirs throughout her life. She loved dancing, taking road trips, camping, buying paparazzi jewelry, playing with her grand puppies, and creating wonderful memories with her family. She was a hero and inspiration to everyone, especially to her children and grandchildren whom her legacy will live through forever. Loretta is survived by her husband, Ernest Rael; two children, “beautiful hita” Leanna (Julian) Kilkenny, “Sunshine” Ernesto (Tori) Montano; grandchildren, Julian, Lucas, Jaxson, Braxton, Jaycen and Justin: Siblings; Cathy(Bill)Dickerson, Sal(Liz)Montano, Beatrice(Eloy)Gomez, Clem(Cathy)Montano, Cres Montano, Paul(Julie)Montano, Margie(Ralph)Quintana, Judy Vialpando, Helen(Isaac)Trujillo; Lilly her cat; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
