Luis Albert Martinez

Luis A. Martinez beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather passed away on December 12th, 2021 at the age of 83. Luis was known to many by Louie. He was born on December 30, 1937 in Santa Fe, NM. Luis spent his life dedicated to his loving wife Rose Martinez married for sixty years and five children. He was a jack of all trades and after many years he retired as a mechanic. He wasn't a man of many words but those who knew him knew his actions spoke louder than words with his smile and willingness to help others. Luis was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Helen Martinez and his sisters Olivia Montoya, Alicia Johnson and Annie Bonnell. Luis is survived by his wife Rose and their five children Louie Martinez, Christopher Martinez (Dolores), John Martinez (Dawn), Jeanette Martinez-Kitchens (Dean), Stephanie Martinez and his grandson Elijah Martinez-Fede; his siblings Cecilia Jaramillo (Fred), Irene Martinez, Carmen Guzman (Joaquin), Lucy Martinez, Mary Campos, Michelle Romero, and Paul Martinez; his in-laws Ray Valencia, Berta Eyman, Margie Lowe, Jeanie Brito (Ruben), and extended family members. Luis will forever be in our hearts. Thank you for all the prayers and support. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a military service is scheduled.
