Anna Hurst

Anna Hurst, age 101, passed away peacefully September 20, 2022 at home in Warner Robins, GA. She was born October 26, 1920 in Youngstown, OH to Joseph and Veronica Sarocka. She married the great love of her life, James R. Hurst in August of 1952 who preceded her in death in June of 2011. You could always find her in the summer months on her front porch swing listening to a Cleveland Indians game and visiting with neighbors. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her husband in their Airstream trailer and spending time at their winter home in Mission, TX. She spent her summers tending her flowers in Warren and her winters growing fresh oranges and grapefruit in Mission before permanently moving south in 1998. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James A and Paula Hurst of Warner Robins, GA and her daughter and son-in-law Dianne (Hurst) and Markus Butcher of Mission, TX; four grandchildren Jason Hurst and Eric Hurst of GA and Zachary Butcher and Brady Butcher of TX; plus three great grandchildren.
