Warner Robins, Georgia - Sue Haddock Cuppett, 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, with her beloved family at her bedside. A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. A funeral service honoring the life of Sue, will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, at 11:00AM, in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Immediately following the services, Sue will be laid to rest at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Sue was born on September 1, 1936, in Damascus, Georgia to the late Thelma Greene Haddock and John Drayton Haddock, Jr. Sue was a loving woman who cared for others while having a quiet and still spirit. She served as a director of Happy Hour Services for a number of years, where she connected and developed a relationship with those who faced fundamental challenges. Sue possessed a heart for service, which she exemplified in her life and to her family. Sue was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church, where she served in many roles and ministries, including the bereavement team. Sue loved to cook and was an excellent baker who was known for her famous chocolate pies and pound cake. When she was not cooking or serving at the church, she could often be found outside gardening and tending to her flowers. Sue will forever be remembered for her generosity and the devotion she showed to her family. In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Cuppett, Jr. and her loving grandson, Jonathan Cuppett. Left to cherish the beautiful memory of Sue, is her beloved children: Lynn H. Cuppett, John (Jane) Cuppett; grandson, Michael (Kylie) Cuppett; great-grandchildren, Lakelyn and Presley Cuppett; sister: Peggy Pratt. Sue is also survived by a host of extended family members and countless friends.
