Mrs. Lola M. Evans Toole, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior in the early morning Friday, November 3, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. A funeral service honoring the life of Mrs. Lola will be held in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, Friday, November 10th, 2023, at 2:00 PM. A committal service will immediately follow at Riverside Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday, November 9th, 2023, between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Lola was born in Cordele, GA. on October 10, 1931, to the late Mr. Crayon and Essie Evans. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry Albert Toole, Sr., brother Gerald Evans and granddaughter Krystal Lynn Shuck. Having grown up on a farm Lola was a strong independent woman. After her work as a nurse Lola became a homemaker and cherished the loving memories made with her family. In her younger years she enjoyed gardening and growing flowers with her favorites being gladiolas and azaleas. Lola was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dear friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Lola is survived by her cherished son, Henry "Al" Albert Toole, Jr. (Nina); grandchildren: Michael Albert Toole and Amber Cherie Thornton; great-grandchildren: Ahleya Thornton, Katerra Hall, Rafael Glenn, Jr.; siblings: Dr. Ellis Wayne Evans, as well as a host of loving family members and friends such as Janice Vinnings.
