Roger Allen Bishop

Roger Allen Bishop, 55, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024. A Memorial Service celebrating his life is scheduled for Thursday, February 22, 11:00AM at The Way Baptist Church, 1964 Marshallville Rd. in Perry, Georgia. Pastor Mike Britt will officiate. Roger was born February 17, 1968 in Perry, Georgia to the late Bobby and Glenda Bishop. He was an owner/operator of Bishop's Automotive and Performance. He was a member of The Way Baptist Church and loved to fish. Roger was passionate about auto racing, most especially drag racing. Despite enjoying the speed on the race track, Roger never got in too big of hurry when it came to life. His family and friends would often joke about him observing "Roger Time". Roger was a loving father, brother, and uncle and everyone who knew him will miss him. Roger is survived by his daughter, Madison Bishop of Montezuma; son, Coleson Bishop of Montezuma; brother, Robbie Bishop (Carrie) of Perry; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved pit bull, Maggie.
