Curtis Floyd, of Molalla, Ore. passed away of pneumonia on Jan. 2, 2018. He was 98. Curtis was born to Paul and Mary Floyd on April 24, 1919 in Cove, Ark. He worked in the timber industry for 33 years and had been retired for 34 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and playing poker. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; Leona Floyd, his wife of 63 years; grandson, Edward Claridge; and granddaughter, Marie Hale. He is survived by daughters, Gearldean (Royal) McIntosh, and Glenda Johnson (widow); six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren, with another on the way; and two sisters. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on April 21, 2018 at 11 a.m., at the Molalla Adult Center, 315 Kennel Ave., Molalla, Ore.
