William "Bill" Griffith
May 20th, 1957 - May 18th, 2023
William (Bill) Griffith was born in Canyon City, Colorado on May 20, 1957. He moved to the Longmont area with his family and graduated from Niwot High School in 1975. He then attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in finance in 1980. Life took a turn for William in the late 1980s when he was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis. Even though he struggled with his health and related issues to MS, he was resourceful in maintaining his independence. He had found a job at Marshall’s in Boulder, where he held that job for over 30 years. With his motivation to thrive despite other disabilities, he was able to buy his own home in Longmont where he lived for over 10 years. Those who knew Bill, know him for being a lover of music, sports, his dogs, bowling, and participating in Bible Bowl competitions. He will be missed by all who loved and found friendship with him. William is preceded in death by both of his parents, William E Griffith and Barbara Griffith, and his sister Ann Krieg (Griffith), and nephew Michael Griffith. The surviving family includes sister Kathleen DiLeo, brother Matthew Griffith, twin brother Robert Griffith, several nieces and nephews, and one grandnephew.
