Charlotte Ann Hale
February 28th, 1934 - December 16th, 2019
Charlotte Ann Hale, 85, of Seminole, formally Hebron, Indiana, passed away peacefully December 16, 2019 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Charlotte was born February 28, 1934 in Wheatfield, Indiana to Floyd and Ruby Hibbs. She graduated from Kouts High School in 1951. Soon after, Charlotte met the love of her life , Frank Hale, and on August 30th, 1952 they were married. Charlotte became a devoted mother to her eight children: Yvonne, Brenda, Frank, Floyd, Donna, Barry, Steve, and Trudy.
Charlotte was dedicated to her faith. She read her Bible every morning and every evening, and was a member of the Hebron Christian Church for many years. She had many hobbies, which included birdwatching and observing wildlife, tending to her garden and canning the vegetables she grew. She enjoyed playing Chicken Foot with family and friends, quilting, solving jigsaw puzzles with Trudy, and cooking for her loved ones. Charlotte loved spending time with her family most of all, hosting family reunions and creating memories. Charlotte will be fondly remembered for her big heart and warm, gentle spirit.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Frank Hale Sr.; sisters Mary, Velma, and Midge; sons Frank Hale Jr. and Barry Hale, and granddaughter Krystal Riley. She is survived by her children Yvonne Hale, Brenda (Mark) Battalio, Floyd Hale, Donna Stewart, Steve (Barb) Hale, and Trudy Hale, sister Wilma (Dave) Coffman, special sister-in-law Frances Hale, sixteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
A visitation will be held at Reese Funeral Home, at 6767 Seminole Blvd, Seminole Florida 33772 on Saturday December 21, 2019 at 1:00pm, with a Funeral Service to follow at 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, Charlotte's family is requesting donations be made to Suncoast Hospice.
