Shane, Ronald C., 81, of Seminole, passed away December 1, 2018 at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg. He was born on December 13, 1936 in Rochester, Pennsylvania to the late Lester and Lillian (Eicher) Shane. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and retired as a Gunnery Sergeant after 22 years service. Ronald is survived by his children, daughter, Mary Jodel Elam;, two sons, Michael W. Shane , Thomas A. Shane; a brother Douglas W. Shane, and a sister Brenda Ekkela , The family will receive friends at E. James Reese Funeral Home & Crematory on December 14, 2018 from 1:00PM - 3:00PM with a funeral service to follow at 3:00PM. A committal service with military honors will take place at Bay Pines National Cemetery 10:30am Tuesday, December 18th, 2018.
