William Louis White, Jr.

William Louis White, Jr., “Billy”, 60, of Treasure Island and Seminole, Florida passed away May 3, 2023 at St. Anthony’s Hospital, St. Petersburg, Florida. Born on September 26, 1962, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, he attended Hickory High School, graduating in 1980. He loved being a Hermitage County volunteer fireman and volunteering at the Mercer County Association for the Retarded. Billy moved to Pinellas County, Florida in 1983, working at the Pinellas County DMV, worked his way to Supervisor, and retiring after 30 years. During that time, he met, Benjamin Hetrick, his life partner of 39 years. Ben and Billy, started the Gift Garden, in Treasure Island, eventually becoming Benjamin’s Boquet & Boutique. A lifelong member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, Hermatage, Pa, he attended Friendship Community Church, St. John’s and St. Matthew’s Catholic Churches in the St. Petersburg area. Survivors include his loving mother, Betty White, sister Marcia Iole, aunt Sandra Spaude, aunt Darlene Davis, & family, nieces and a nephew Cecilia Iole, Madeline White, and Mack White, sister-in-law Jenny White and brother -in-law Jay Iole. He will be greatly missed by many communities. He is preceded in death by his father, William Louis White, Sr. and brother Kenneth.
