Obituary for William Franklin Duncan William Franklin Duncan, 80, of Redington Beach, Florida passed away July 10, 2023! He was raised in Lima, Ohio. Graduated from Bath High School. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Duncan and mother Lucille Garner Loescher, and brother Henry Duncan. William is survived by his loving wife Phyllis Marie Duncan, son William (Debbie) Douglas Duncan, daughter Kelly (Eric) Hanick, grandchildren William Douglas Duncan, Austin (Fiance Ashley Tucker) Kurtis Duncan, Amber Nicole Hanick, Cyrus Alexander Hanick , great-grandchildren Aubrey Grace Duncan, brother Gary (Anita) Duncan, sister Janet Chavarria. Bill was a former Police Officer in Lima, Ohio. He also worked in management and sales for car dealerships in Florida for over 35 years. Bill also served in the United States Army in Vietnam for two years. Bill loved boating, fishing trips, fishing off the dock at home with the family, and walking the beach with his wife. He traveled on many cruises. He was a collecter of shaving mugs, chess sets, and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Spending time with his wife and family was his joy in life. In heaven, you are and will be greatly missed by all he loved. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 15 2023 at 12:30pm at Bay Pines National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to the Heart Association.
