Richard "Dick" Leroy Rees

Richard L 'Dick' Rees, a thoughtful and compassionate Christian man who was loved by many, peacefully went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 30, 2023. He was 78 years old. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Louise Rees, and his beloved wife, Farris A Rees, who passed away just over two months ago. Now, they are reunited, finding eternal peace and love together. Those left behind to cherish Dick's memory include his children, Todd Rees and Gaile Bennett, as well as his stepchildren, Robin (Roland) Hussong and Kristin (Sean) Brantley. He was a loving and devoted grandfather to Bailey Bennett, Luke Brantley, Ross Hussong, and Katie Brantley. Dick's life was a testament to his unwavering faith, kindness, and love for others. His compassion and thoughtfulness touched the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and faith that will forever inspire and guide those he touched. A casual celebration of Dick's life will be held on Sunday, November 19th, at 2 pm at Reese Funeral Home, located at 6767 Seminole Blvd, Seminole, FL 33772.
