Dane Spurgeon Chandler
November 1st, 1965 - December 25th, 2023
CHANDLER, Dane Spurgeon, 58 passed away suddenly on December 25, 2023. Dane was born at St. Anthony's Hospital in St Petersburg, on November 01, 1965, to Richard and Janet Chandler. He was a graduate of Dixie Hollins High School and joined the Army shortly thereafter. He served 2 year's in Germany and he was very proud and honored he was able to serve his country. He was a chef and worked at several bay area restaurants including Johnny Leverocks. Dane is preceded in death by his father Richard, his paternal grandfather Spurgeon, his paternal grandmother Frances, his maternal grandmother Stana and his maternal grandfather Romolo. He is survived by his daughter, Summer Marie, his mother Janet ("Jan") Ginley, his sister Michele, and half brothers Rick (Debbie ) and Jason (Angela) Chandler and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. We will miss him dearly. He was a very unique man with a great sense of humor. A memorial will be at a later date (TBA). Memorial contributions can be made to Dane's GoFundMe or the SPCA.
