Baudilio Jimenez

Baudilio Jimenez, age 99, of Seminole, FL, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Baudilio was born on August 20, 1916 to Gregorio Beltran and Claudina Jimenez in Junín, Colombia. For the majority of his life, Baudilio worked as a Banker. Baudilio, or Jimi/Sr Jimenez/ Don Baudo, as many knew him more commonly as, was preceded in death by his loving wives; Diocelina Guasca de Jimenez, and Grace Jimenez. Baudilio was also preceded in death by a son in law; Anil P Rajadhyax. Baudilio is survived by his six children and their families. Daughter Clara Gomez (New Jersey) and her husband Fabio, five grandchildren; John Paul, Maria, Fabio Sr., Dario, and Daniel, and twelve great grandchildren. Daughter Ilma Lozano (Massachusetts) and her husband Manuel, three grandchildren; Claudia, Angela, and Diana, and four great grandchildren. Son Dario Jimenez (Florida) and his wife Vera, three grandchildren; Ileann, Elsa Yvette, and Danette, and five great grandchildren. Daughter Monica Sarmiento (New York) and her husband Gustavo, two grandchildren; Marcela and Sebastian. Daughter Marti Orme(Rajadhyax) (Florida) and her husband Drew, four grandchildren; Priti, Brett, Shashi, and Pamela, and five great grandchildren. Daughter Esperanza Santiago (New York) and her husband Edwin, two grandchildren; Erica and Edwin. Per Baudilio's wishes, he will be cremated and will be laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Clearwater, Florida. Jimi was a loving husband, father, grand/great grandfather, as well as a great friend to many. He was an active member of Saint Justin Martyr Church, where he attended mass and dedicated himself to the Lord until the very end. He was a country boy who made himself a city boy all on his own in the city of Bogota, Colombia. Baudilio worked and retired from ' Banco de la Republica,' where he held various positions throughout his time there. He was also a business owner over the years, while in his birth country. In the Unites States, he worked for a few years at a couple of firms in New York City. Baudilio was an avid traveler. He loved gardening, his home, the beach, and loved to dance and sing. Always a dapper dresser and just a charming man who was loved by all who knew him. We will miss you dear Jimi/ Don Baudo/ Sr Jimenez/Papi/Papito/ Padrecito/ Abuelito precioso. Rest in peace.
