Robert Earl Olsen
January 15th, 1922 - May 20th, 2016
Robert Earl Olsen age 94, of Seminole, passed away on May 20. The eldest son of Earl and Elsie Olsen. He was born and raised in Chicago. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years, June Marie in 2010 and his beloved son James Alan in 1995. He is survived by son, William (Joan) Olsen and daughter Karen (Chuck) Hennessey and grandchildren Ryan (Krissi), Greg and Kevin Olsen, Matthew and Laurie Hennessey and great grandson, Henry and brother Howard Olsen. He was a World War II veteran having served in the US Army Air Corps as a M/Sgt and as a 1st Lt in the USAF Reserves. He served in Saipan and was awarded 2 Bronze Stars and 1 Bronze Arrowhead. He was an avid tennis player and an "old car enthusiast" as well as a devoted family man. Interment will be Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida
