December 13th, 1928 - August 24th, 2017
Landi, Joseph R., age 88 of St. Petersburg, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Largo Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Floral Park, NY, on December 13, 1928 to the late Joseph M. and Michelina (Altieri) Landi, he was a loving husband and father. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War where he received the Bronze Star. He worked for AT & T. Joseph is survived by his children, daughters, Karen A. Landi of NJ, Mary L. (Leon) Austin of CA; sons, Thomas J. (Nancy) Landi of CO, William R. (Michelle) Landi of FL; and grandson, Joshua Landi of CO. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Ida E. Landi. There will be a funeral mass held on Wednesday August 30, 2017, at 10:00AM, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
