O'BRIEN, Genevieve "Grandma G G", age 95, died Tuesday, May 2, 2012 at Wright's Nursing Home in Largo, Florida. She was born June 28, 1916 in Portland, Connecticut Genevieve "Jean" was a homemaker and a member of the Fleet Reserve and loved to go on cruises, was an avid bingo player and bowler. She was a member of St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church. She is survived by 5 children: Alfred (Ziggy) Rogoz & wife Alice in East Lyme, CT - Dolores Rogoz-Bulino & husband Frank Bulino in Old Town, FL, Ronald Rogoz & wife Debbie in Wetumka, OK, Dennis O'Brien, Miami, FL & Frank O'Brien, Tucson, AZ. 13 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren; one sister Maryanna "May" Gilbert, Rocky Hill, CT and many nieces & nephews. Visitation will be Friday, May 4, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Reese Funeral Home The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 5, 2012 @ 11:00 AM at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery In lieu of flowers. memorial contributions can be made to St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church and Wright's Rehab & Nursing Home.
