Linda Jean Jensen

Linda Jean Jensen, passed away on March 26, 2018 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL. She was born in Detroit, MI to Thaddeus and Genevieve Romans. Linda grew up in her native Detroit and attended Michigan State University. She later attended Mercy College of Nursing where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She worked in the nursing profession for several years before moving to Florida. Linda married Jeffery Jensen in July 1981 in Warren, MI. They have been happily married for 37 years. Linda and Jeffery have lived on the west coast of Florida since 1987. Linda was a leader for many years with the Largo-Seminole Women's Bible Study. She loved to cook, play golf, and knitting. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Jeffery; her daughters, Michelle Jensen of Lanark, IL, Lauren Jensen Blackwell (spouse Chris Blackwell), of Houston, TX; a grandchild Jackson Jensen; her mother Genevieve Romans, Seminole; her brother, Robert Romans (spouse Jan), and niece Heather Romans of Las Vegas, NV. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 6pm until 8pm at E. James Reese Funeral home, 6767 Seminole Blvd, Seminole, FL 33772. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00am on Friday March 30, 2018 at Seminole First Baptist Church - 11045 Park Blvd, Seminole, FL 33772. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Morton Plant Mease Hospital Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
