Elizabeth M. Sharkey
July 26th, 1937 - January 2nd, 2010
Elizabeth Liz Margaret Mary Sharkey peacefully fell asleep on 1/2/2010 after spending the day and a lifetime surrounded by family and friends. Liz was the daughter of Florence & James Easop, and the sister of Anne Eugene & Jim Rita. She was born in NY on 7/26/1937, married Tom in 01/26/1958 and the family moved to Florida in the fall of 1969. Husband Tom, children Debra Ed, Eileen Thom, Thomas Shari, Michael Kelly, grandchildren TJ & Kinsey and many other family members both natural and absorbed into her heart and life will miss her always. Her quick wit, generous spirit and acceptance of everyone just the way they are, taught us all how a life should be lived. She was a lover of life, family, friends and all things chocolate. On 1/9 an open house celebration of her life will be held at 24 161st Ave Redington Beach between 2 - 6 pm. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the wonderful Suncoast Hospice in Liz's name. The internment service will take place at Bay Pines National cemetery at a later date.
