Robert Walter Rossman
August 18th, 1927 - July 8th, 2021
Mr. Robert Walter Rossman, age 93 a resident of Auburndale passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Mr. Rossman was born August 18, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph and Marie (Cusick) Rossman. He was a resident of Auburndale since 1996 coming from Connecticut. Bob was a retired Industrial Design Engineer and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winter Haven. He was a United States Army Air Corp Veteran. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and enjoyed all sports on TV, was an avid bicycle rider, dancing, crossword puzzles, Sudoku and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife – Elizabeth; son – Michael; 2 sisters and 1 brother. Bob is survived by his loving family, 2 sons – Robert S. (Robin) Rossman of Enfield, CT. and Mark W. (Sara) Rossman of Southwick, MA.; 2 daughters – Julie (Jerry) Martell of Southwick, MA. and Amy Wilde of Weeki Wachee, FL.; 6 grandchildren – Michael, Alyssa, Joshua, Mikaela, Zachariah and Rosalie; 1 great grandson – Dustyn. A memorial service will be 10:00 am Friday, July 23rd at Kersey Funeral Home. Inurnment with Military Honors will follow 2:30 pm at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
