Mr. Robert “Bob” Duane Wilson, age 86 a resident of Polk City, Florida passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Lake Gibson Village surrounded by his family. Mr. Wilson was born November 19, 1934 in Jackson, Michigan to Elmer and Ardis (Porter) Wilson. He was a Polk County resident since 2004 coming from Michigan. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and Rotary in Michigan. Bob drove race cars, enjoyed working on cars, loved NASCAR and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother – Norman and 2 sisters – Linda & Aileen. Bob is survived by his loving family, wife of 48 years – Margaret Wilson of Polk City, Florida; son – Rodney Wilson of Florida; daughter – Tina (Brian) Egnatuk of Florida; stepson – Kevin Bartlett of Michigan; stepdaughter – Kelly (Travis) Fullwood of Texas; 2 grandchildren – Carley Wilson and Taylor Wilson; 4 step grandchildren – Drew (Wren) Bartlett, Derek Bartlett, Percy Fullwood & Ryan Fullwood and 2 step great grandchildren – Sarah & Barry. There are no services scheduled for Mr. Wilson.
