Peter William Inman
September 8th, 1953 - May 17th, 2019
Peter William Inman Sr. passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife and children on May 17, 2019, In Tampa Fl at the Moffitt Cancer Treatment Center. Peter requested that his body be donated to the center to further cancer research. Peter was born on September 8, 1953 to Betty Arlene and Charles Inman in Albion MI. He attended school in East Jordan, MI. Peter was a bus driver for the East Jordan school in his early 20s. He then worked at Courters (Allied Signal) in Boyne City. Retiring after many years at Courters, he returned to driving a school bus for the Boyne City School district as well as Boyne Mountain Resort until his retirement in 2014. Peter met and married his soulmate, Beth, in 1990. Joining two families together as one, they were the Brady “Inman” bunch. Peter and Beth were always together, taking advantage of all life had to offer them. He enjoyed the simple things in life and spending time with his wife was his favorite. He and Beth traveled to 45 US states as well as Canada and Mexico over the past twenty nine years. He loved to travel and visit historic sites. He enjoyed a quiet afternoon and sitting outside bird watching. He was a flower enthusiast and took great pride in his lawn and gardens. He enjoyed visits with his children and the many grandchildren he was blessed with, all 20 of them. He was very proud of his large family, and boldly shared that pride with all that would listen. Family reputation was very important to him. His final words of advice to his children were, “Get up every morning and do what is right”. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Betty Arlene, his father, Charles, brothers, Paul and Ron and his daughter Angela Seldon. He is leaving behind his wife, Beth Inman, children, Pete (Regina) Inman, Michelle (Jay) Loviska, Angela (Shawn) DeYoung, Hope (Kyle) Hinterman, Amy (Joe) Bender, Michael (Ashley) Cohen. Grandchildren Juliet, Nora, Joey, Johnny, Samantha, Ethan, Tristan, Anna, Charlie, Will, Dylan, Faith, Pixie, Lily, Izic, Chloe, Natalee, Nicholas, Kassie, and Valerie. Sisters, Dorothy (Verlin) Thompson and Kathy (Jim) Rice, as well as many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life memorial will be held on June 8, 2019 at the Lighthouse Missionary Church, Rogers Rd, East Jordan MI at 2:00 in the afternoon. Visitation and reception will follow.
