He proudly served in the United States Coast Guard and was a member of the Arts Counsel of Hillsborough County Schools. He is survived by his loving spouse, Jay Aalberg; son, Jesse Aalberg; daughter, Jaime Aalberg; brothers, Jeff Aalberg, Tim Aalberg; grandchildren, Nick Aalberg, Elliot Aalberg, Isabel Aalberg, and Lily Van Del Rosario.
